Vegan Floss

Ingredients :

500 grams desiccated coconut
500 grams GHF Original Mince
30 grams dried chilies
4 pieces onion
8 cloves garlic
50 grams Galangal
4 pieces lemongrass
10 pieces kaffir leaves
4 tablespoons coriander
3 tablespoons fennel
3 tablespoons cumin
180 ml tamarind water
200 grams palm sugar

Method :

1. Fry fresh desiccated coconut on the stove for about 30 minutes (until a bit brown), then set it aside.

2. Pan fry the mince meat until dries up for about 10 minutes, until there is no sign of water from the meat.

3. Blend onion, dry chilies, garlic, galangal and lemongrass together until smooth.

4. Fry kaffir leaves and all the blended items with oil for about 5-10 minutes.

5. Once the blended item is a bit dry, add palm sugar and tamarind water and fry until dry.

6. Add vegan meat and stir for about 10-15minutes (make it a bit dry).

7. Add desiccated coconut that we dried earlier and mix everything together and fry it until well mixed and dry.

8. Let it cool before transferring to another container. Can store for about 1 month.

*it takes about 6 hours(minimum) to make this recipe.
