Indian Keema Curried No-Beef

Ingredients :

3 tablespoon vegetable oil (or other unflavoured oil)
2.5 cm piece of ginger, finely chopped
5 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 large onion, chopped
400 grams GHF Original Mince
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder (or to taste)
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 cup water
Chopped fresh coriander to serve

Method :

1.Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the ginger and garlic, and fry for 60 seconds, until aromatic.

2. Add the onion and fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.

3. Add the GHF Mince Meat, along with the salt and spices. Fry for 2-3 minutes, breaking up the meat into small pieces as you go.

4. Add the water, stir, and allow to simmer for approximately 10 minutes until most of the water has evaporated.

5. Serve with your choice of rice or bread and top with a scattering of coriander leaves.
